Local children have festive fun at Fish Island Village!
Last week, we were delighted to hold a fun and festive event at Fish Island Village! Working with Mossbourne Academy after-school club and Krafty Kids after-school club, both located on Fish Island, we enjoyed an evening of food, drinks, and a Christmas tree switch on.
The children from the local after-school clubs created their own decorations for the Fish Island Village Christmas tree, which was itself sourced from local gardening and community centre, Growing Concerns.
To keep our joyful volunteers fed and jolly on the winters evening, local business Canababes provided much-loved mince pies and festive beverages, all of which were well received.
To the background of Christmas music, we celebrated the switching on of the Christmas Lights, which was held at the Fish Island Village marketing suite.
